He says the holding call was correct and Levy had nothing to apologize about with regard to that call. I personally think it was obv the right call. Furthermore, I agree that penalty had nothing to do with Hasselbeck throwing an int a few plays later.

I do still find it disgusting when a HC doesnt have the guts to admit his team played bad and blames the officials for loss when they did play bad, all the calls in question were at most grey area calls (excluding the hasselbeck trip which had little impact), and none were in the last few minutes of the game (aka so late to prevent the team from having an opportunity to over come the "bad" call).Timnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8694339605194166992.post-41486948107236928682010-08-10T01:49:13.336-02:002010-08-10T01:49:13.336-02:00Bus18,
Thanks for your kind words.
I just don...Bus18,

Thanks for your kind words.

I just don't get it. I accept that some of the calls were questionable (esp. Ben's TD, which I think was legit because the ref. was right on the goal line, but the replays are ify at best).

As a true Steelers fan I have never been too much in favor of strict enforcement of pass interference calls. But the WR pushed off, clear as day, and right in front of an offical.

Thanks for commenting, and hope to see you back soon.KThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11407272159389023362noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8694339605194166992.post-70090279762767200632010-08-09T00:03:54.601-02:002010-08-09T00:03:54.601-02:00Thanks for posting your response to this laughable...Thanks for posting your response to this laughable story. I pointed out basically the same issues to a friend yesterday who tried to argue that this proved the NFL bought a championship for the Steelers. Thanks for bringing up the Colts playoff game. I completely forgot about.

Keep up the great work, and I'll keep coming back for more during the season.

TheBus18TheBus18noreply@blogger.com
